This Privacy Policy describes how and when MODESTBEAUTY TEKSTİL İTHALAT İHRACAT SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects the personal information of our users (“you”) when you use the services on our website and mobile application (the “Platform”). You also may access linked pages, blogs, features and other content (collectively the “Content”). When using any of our services you consent to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

What this Privacy Policy covers

This policy covers the handling of personal data that we gather when you access the Platform and/or use the Content. We explain what information we gather, why we gather it and the choices you have regarding your personal information.

Information we collect

We may collect and store the following types of data and information when you use the Platform:

Non-Personal Information. We collect information that is anonymous and not identifiable with you. This may include technical and behavioral information such as the browser being used, the operating system of the device, the length of time you were on the Platform, and your activity on the Platform.

Certain information from you is necessary in order for the Platform to operate properly. Your login credentials allow us to personalize the Platform for your use and to improve your experience. You acknowledge and agree that when you provide Personal Information to us that you do so voluntarily. We keep personal information no longer than is legally permissible and we delete Personal Information when it is no longer needed as provided in this Policy.

How we collect information

Personal data you provide to us

When you register on the Platform we collect Personal Information from you. This may include your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, home address, IP address, browser information, and other information you provide to us in order for us to provide the services to you. Details of transactions you conduct through our services are also collected by us. We may also keep records of contacts and communications that you have with us. You may decide not to provide certain information to us, but then your ability to fully interact with our services may be limited.

Personal data that we automatically collect

Our services automatically collect information about your use of the Platform. This includes frequency of visits and number of visitors using our services. We only use this data in aggregate form, to measure statistics, and not in any way that would identify you personally. Aggregate data enables us to determine how users use aspects of the Platform or Content in order for us to improve our services.

Use of cookies

We may send one or more cookies — small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your device. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Platform. If you delete or choose not to accept cookies from the services, you may not be able to use the features of the services to their fullest capabilities.

How we use the information we collect

We use the information we collect in a variety of ways to improve and support the Platform and our business operations, including:

Who we share it with

Brand partners — limited order/referral data needed to attribute a buy-click and calculate commission, not your full account profile.
Service providers — hosting/cloud infrastructure, analytics providers, and AI/LLM providers that power search and chat. Some of these providers are located outside Türkiye.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Cross-border data transfer (KVKK Article 9)

Because some of our infrastructure and AI providers are based abroad, personal data (in particular chat queries and uploaded photos processed by AI models) may be transferred outside Türkiye. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including Turkish Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the KVKK Board where required, or on explicit consent for occasional, non-systematic transfers.

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active plus a reasonable period for legal/tax obligations. Chat and photo-search data are retained only as needed to provide and improve the service.

Your rights (KVKK Article 11)

You have the right to: learn whether we process your data; request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know third parties we share it with (domestic or abroad); request correction of incomplete/inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction where the legal grounds no longer apply; object to a result produced solely by automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage from unlawful processing.

Children

The Platform is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security & updates

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. This notice may be updated; the current version is always available on the Platform.
