RIQ'AH — from the Arabic root meaning "patch" — is exactly what it sounds like, and exactly what it isn't. Each square of linen on this jacket is cut, placed, and hand-attached one at a time, so no two RIQ'AH pieces read quite the same. It's a jacket built the slow way, in a world that rarely asks for that anymore. The base is soft, heavyweight linen with a full lining — oversized through the body, dropped at the shoulder, with a relaxed drawstring hood that stands up on its own. The patchwork panel runs across the chest and one full sleeve, bordered in raw, unfinished edges left deliberately exposed. The opposite sleeve carries hand-finished machine embroidery in Arabic script, grounding the piece in language and heritage rather than pure decoration. This is a hood-up, hands-in-pockets kind of jacket — made for layering over abayas, over kaftans, over jeans. It doesn't ask to match anything. It's the piece in the wardrobe that changes the whole outfit around it. Every RIQ'AH bomber is made to order. Production takes approximately 2–3 weeks from confirmation, as each patchwork panel is cut and attached by hand before the garment is assembled and embroidered.
